LIBRARY

The library is open for student use from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.

The library contains a wealth of materials for research and reference, including 18,000 + fiction and non-fiction books, 50,000 + microfiche, numerous periodicals, maps, audio books, cd-roms, DVD’s, and computers.  During school hours, students are permitted to visit the library and MUST have a note signed by their teachers.  STUDENTS MUST SIGN IN and OUT, indicating the times on a pink log sheet at the front desk.  TWO PEOPLE AT A TABLE provides for good study conditions.  The student copier is in the Library and copies are $.05 each.  Overdue books accumulate a $.05 per day fine.  The unauthorized removal of library materials is a security violation.  For security system violations, students are subject to the following actions:

1.   Intentionally setting off the alarm/Tampering with the security measures and automation system on materials:
                1st offense                ISS
                2nd offense              OSS

2.   LOSS of DATE DUE CARD from materials:         $5.00 FINE

3.   Tampering with security gates: Any offense          OSS
