TARDIES

Students shall be in their assigned rooms/seats by the time of the tardy bell.  If they are not on time, they shall be marked tardy by the teacher in periods 2 - 8 and assigned appropriate detention, unless they have a note from the main office or Guidance.  The procedure for handling students with excessive undocumented tardies per each six weeks is as follows:

 

1^st tardy    ½ hour detention

2^nd tardy    ½ hour detention

 

On the third tardy to class, students will be referred to the appropriate administrator for disciplinary action.

 

3^rd tardy    1 day ISS

and each tardy thereafter will result in a day of ISS

 

Tardies in excess of ten minutes will be considered skipping class.
