I am looking forward to working with you in my first year as Assistant Principal at FBE.  I enjoy working with students, teachers, and families. I hope this year will bring each student success and confidence to be the best person they can be.;o)

I live in Radford with my husband Mike and our kids, Jake, Haley, and Thomas. I enjoy reading, running, golfing, going to ball games, and hanging out at our house. Before working at FBE,  I served Montgomery County Public Schools as an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher for over four years. I also taught third and fifth grades at Christiansburg Elementary School for more than five years. I am a graduate from James Madison University (Human Communication - Public Relations) and Radford University (M.S. Curriculum and Instruction and M.S. Educational Leadership). I am a life-long learner, so I am constantly reading to stay current in education and leadership.

When I was in elementary school, I loved to read. Going to the library was one of my favorite things to do.
