Falling Branch Elementary has an outstanding teaching staff that is fully committed to developing their students' fullest potential. We continue to maintain our fully accredited status. There are also many options for our students to reach beyond the Virginia Standards of Learning.

This is my fifth year as principal at Falling Branch. My family and I moved to Christiansburg from Norfolk. We love it here! I worked for Norfolk Public Schools for 15 years as a classroom teacher, gifted education teacher, gifted education specialist, assistant principal and principal. I am glad to be part of the MCPS family as your principal.

My husband and I both grew up in Maine and even went to the same high school! We have two daughters: Allie graduated from the College of William and Mary and now lives and works in New York City, and Valerie is a senior at George Mason University. We also have a very spoiled golden retriever named Sadie. We are huge Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and New England Patriots fans!
