Hi! My name is Maggie Maloney. I am a graduate of James Madison University and recently completed my master’s degree in art education from Boston University. This will be my 5^th year teaching art with Montgomery County Public Schools! I am so excited to be a part of the team of wonderful educators at Falling Branch Elementary School. In addition, I also teach elementary art at Auburn Elementary School.

I live in Christiansburg with my husband, two dogs, and Siamese cat.  In my spare time I love to make pottery, garden, hike, travel, and spend time with family.  I have also become very interested in running, so it’s a good chance you will see me on the Huckleberry Trail on the weekends!

I look forward to a fantastic year of creating art with your students! We will explore a variety of different media, artists, cultures, and make cross-curricular connections in our artwork.  It will be an exciting adventure!
