Virginia Preschool Initiative Application

A link to the MCPS/Head Start preschool is available online here.To be eligible for Montgomery County Public Schools Virginia Preschool Initiative, the child must be 4 on or before September 30 of the year the child will enroll.

The application is a joint Head Start/MCPS application. Parents may select from the following programs for their child:

• Head Start full day services (3 & 4 year olds)
• MCPS Preschool (4 years old)
• Head Start home based program
• Head Start combo program (3 day a week part-day program)

Once complete, the application should be mailed to the child's zoned school. A school listing is available online here.
