1. Launch NetGard EVS.

2. From the "Live" tab click on the layout you wish to view (Work with the Technology Department to build layouts with custom features).

1. Select the "Browse" tab.
2. Double click on the camera you wish to review
3. Go to the "Time Navigation" pane.
4. Select the beginning date and time of the video you wish to review.

5. Click on the "Go To" button to view.
6. The "Red Slider Bars" on the right hand side of the screen indicate the times when the security cameras have detected motion.

7. "Click & drag" the slider bar in relation to the white horizontal line to move the recording time.
8. The controls on the left hand side of the screen can also be used to play; rewind and fast-forward the video.

1. Select the "Export" pane.

2. Select the Date and Time for the Video recording to start by moving the slider bar to the desired time.
3. Click on the associated "Set" button.
4. Select the Date and Time for the Video recording to end by moving the slider bar to the desired time.
5. Click on the associated "Set" button.
6. The "Source" camera should default to the one you have been previewing. If it is not the correct view, select it from the pull down menu.
7. Click on the "AVI/JPEG Export..." button.

8. Set the export format to AVI.
9. Set the "Path" to the location you wish to store or record the video (choose your CDR or DVR if you wish to burn a copy).
10. View the final product in Windows Media Player.
11. To return to "viewing mode," click on the "Live" tab and select the layout you wish to view.
