CHECKING FOR GENERAL ERRORS IN SASI
Launch the VA SRC Companion SE application
Login
§ User Name: sasi
§ Password: sasi
Verify that the School Year designated is the current School Year
Click on Errors
Click Check Errors listed under Errors
On the Missing Codes tab select Missing
Grade, Missing Gender, Missing Ethnic Code, Missing
On the Enrollment tab all should be selected
On the Validate Birthdates tab verify that Validation On is selected, the Date (Age as of) reflects the October of the current School Year and the Low/High Age Range is as listed for the specified grade levels
Under Options verify that Only Evaluate Current Year Enrollments is selected
To generate the report select the appropriate School and click on Create Report
After processing the information, if there are errors a SASIxp Data Errors report will be displayed
The specific student will be identified by their Permnum and the Error Message will describe the type
of error requiring correction. Sometimes an Error Message regarding age and/or birthdate is not
incorrect but listed for verification.
This report can be printed if necessary
