Subject: Superintendent Dr. Tiffany Anderson Celebrates Excellent Test Scores in Montgomery County Public Schools and Meets with Staff

On October 12, Superintendent Dr. Tiffany Anderson will be visiting schools to celebrate their achievement in improving Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) test scores and becoming fully accredited. At 7:45 a.m., Falling Branch Elementary School has organized a celebratory breakfast and the principal and other administrators will speak to staff and families congratulating them on the achievement in their SOL performance.

Later that day at 3:45 p.m., Dr. Anderson and the director of instruction, Jeanette Warwick, will join the faculty at Christiansburg Elementary School and Christiansburg Primary School to congratulate them on becoming fully accredited and for their continued improvements on the SOLs. The administrators will also have a discussion session with staff regarding accreditation and Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) performance.
