Christiansburg
High School’s Building Trades Students Build New Ticket Booth for
Football Stadium
Building trades students at Christiansburg High School have nearly
completed the construction of a new ticket booth for the school football
stadium. Students in Donald McFarland's
building trades class began building the ticket booth at the end of the last
school year. The students hope to have it ready to use at this Friday's
opening home game. Construction plans for the ticket booth were drawn by CHS
drafting students. Projects like this
allow students to practice the building skills that they have learned in the
classroom. Building trades students participating in the project include Phillip
Dowdy, Jacob Gilley, Matthew Houschildt, Matthew Riddle, Brandon
Roop, Zachary Smith, Adam Perry, Patrick Lyon, and Derrick Miller.
