Installing Accelerated Reader Quizzes

1. At the bottom left of the Download Center window, click Go.

2. In the next window, verify the information listed and click Download.

3. In the next window, confirm that selected product is Accelerated Reader and the selected platform is Windows. Click Submit.

4. Click on the installation file.

5. Click Run in the next two windows that appear.

6. In the WinZip Self-Extractor window, click Unzip to unzip the file. The default location is C:\Quizzes. If you wish to change this location, click the Browse button and choose a different directory. When the files have been unzipped, click OK in the window that appears.

7. A Quiz Installation window will open. (If you don’t see it, you may need to click on it in your task bar.) In this window, click on Renaissance Place Server.

8. In the Select Server window, in the Server box, enter the following number: 198.82.201.92. Click OK.

9. In the next window that appears, enter your Renaissance Place login and Password. Click Log In.

10. In the next window, verify the quizzes to be installed and click Install.

11. A Server Install Process Status window will appear in which the status of the installation can be viewed. Once the installation is complete a summary window will appear. Click Exit.
