Third Grade Home Page
Students experience a considerable amount of change coming from second to third grade. The curriculum becomes more complicated and diverse. Students explore a wide variety of topics including Ancient Greece and Rome, explorers, multiplication, cursive writing, matter and life cycles. They also continue to strengthen reading comprehension skills as well as spelling and writing skills. Third graders are encouraged to develop independence and responsibility toward their academic progress.
