At Auburn Elementary School the library is the center and heart of the school. Its position demonstrates the staff's dedication to the importance of reading and the value of books. To provide students and teachers with the necessary resources to support the curriculum, the shelves are full of fiction, non-fiction and reference books. The library also subscribes to local and regional newspapers and to many interesting magazines.
Technology is another important component of the media center. The library computers are connected to both wide area and local area networks. With these machines, students and teachers may use online databases, and the Internet.
The Library is an
interesting, comfortable and colorful place to spend some time reading a
favorite book. Come by and visit the library.
