Auburn
Elementary has a Preschool program for four-year-olds. The preschoolers
play games, put together puzzles and learn valuable socialization
skills. The
Virginia Preschool Initiative is an innovative program designed to assist
at-risk four-year-old children in our community. The program is designed
to provide quality preschool experiences to children who would otherwise not be
served by other private nonprofit and public preschool programs. Daily
activities are varied and interesting so that children can become confident,
enthusiastic learners. The preschool curriculum focuses on the
social/emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development of each
child.
