The debate Club's purpose is to study and discuss current issues, and to develop public speaking skills.

The Debate Club competes in competitions in interscholastic events.

To be in the Debate Club, one must have an interest in current events and public discourage. One also needs an ability to present logical arguments to meet VHSL requirements.
