Cast Two Shadows

1780, the whistle of cannons can be heard from miles around where Caroline lives in Camden, South Carolina. Caroline’s father has been put in jail for being a rebel leader and her brother is off fighting in the war. She is called upon to save her father from death in the prisons by getting her grandmother to cook for the man that can get her father out. But surprise she is white but her grandmother is a black slave women. They end up on a journey together and get to know each other and Caroline is accepted by her grandmother as a young women.
