• Married to Bob Trear, a retired teacher from Blacksburg High School and Basketball Coach for 39 years.

• 3 Adult Children

• Daughter- Teaches Algebra at a Middle School in South Carolina

• Daughter- Zookeeper at Oklahoma City Zoo (Primates) Her Husband is also a Zookeeper at Oklahoma City Zoo (Elephants)

• Son- Teaches Marketing at Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke. He has been at PH for 3 years and is the JV Basketball Coach.

 Previous Education:

• B.S. Mathematics- Radford University

• Taught for 26 years- 20 years at Auburn
