Spanish I
Grade Level 8-12
Spanish I introduces students to the Spanish language and culture through the development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Spanish II
Grade Level 9-12
Spanish II reinforces and expands the study of basic skills, broadens the students knowledge of the Spanish language through conversation and composition, and increases his/her familiarity with the Hispanic culture.
Spanish III
Grade Level 10-12
Spanish III completes the study of the basic grammatical skills, strengthens vocabulary through increased conversation, composition and reading of authentic and adapted materials and increases awareness of cultural similarities and differences.
Spanish IV
Grade Level 11-12
Spanish IV continues to develop and refine the four linguistic skills by studying authentic literature, developing creative writing techniques, and improving accuracy and appropriateness of verbal communication.
Spanish V
Grade Level 11-12
Spanish V provides an in-depth focus on Spanish literature and or language. Emphasis is placed on active communication, deep reading comprehension, extended writing proficiency, and comprehensive grammar review to meet the needs of the advanced Spanish student.
