"Guiding individuals to become
physically active and healthy
for a lifetime."

Health Education

The health curriculum develops skills, attitudes and behaviors that help students establish criteria for a healthy lifestyle.  Our emphasis  is on prevention of problems over treatment and serves to  encourage students to improve the quality of their lives.

Physical Education

Physical education is an important part of the total educational program .  This program contributes to the overall mental, emotional, social and physical growth of each student.  In Physical Education,  students participate in a wide variety of sports and lifetime activities geared  to help them develop into  healthy, active and productive citizens.  Successful completion of the class requires actively participating and dressing out .  Safety and sportsmanship are also stressed.

Driver Education

Driver education provides students with an opportunity to learn the meaning of risk, how to avoid high-risk situations if possible and minimize them if unavoidable.  Students are given helpful tips, information and risk-management strategies.  Typical driving situations are described to engage students in evaluating and considering how they would manage risk.  As a result students gain the confidence necessary to become safe, responsible drivers.
