Music and Art are very important parts of the school curriculum.  A full year of a Fine Arts course is required in 6^th grade.  Students may take additional Fine Arts courses in 7^th and 8^th grades.

Sixth Grade Choices:

Fine Arts 6 – one semester beginning art; one semester music

Beginning Art – two- and three-dimensional art

Beginning Band - beginning instrumental music instruction for wind and percussion instruments

Beginning Chorus – choral techniques, vocal mechanism and techniques
