Dear Student:

Hello! My name is Mr. Garretson and I am happy to be your principal at Christiansburg Elementary School.

I grew up in the country, in West Virginia. I played baseball and basketball when I was your age. I have one sister, who is four years younger than me. My hobbies include reading books about history, camping, and watching football. My favorite teams are the Michigan Wolverines and the Oakland Raiders. I am married and have a little baby boy.

I'm excited to be at your school and will come visit your classroom. You will also see me in the cafeteria and on the playground. If I can ever help you, please just let me know.
