Mrs. Rhonda Bonet

I am a graduate of Radford University and have lived in the New River Valley my entire life. I started my teaching career in Franklin County were I taught 10th grade biology. I later taught middle school and alternative education before deciding on elementary education. I am so fortunate to be teaching 3rd grade at Christiansburg Elementary School! This is my third year teaching third grade at CES and I am so excited about starting the year! I enjoy getting to know the students and watching them grow!

I am married with two children.  My husband, Juan, is from Puerto Rico.  Our son, Roman, is a third grader at McHarg Elementary in Radford.  Our daughter, Christin, is a sophomore at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.  I have three dogs, a Yorkie named Duchess, an American Bull Dog named Dunk, and a Redbone Hound named Moses. I also have two calico cats named Callie and Sassie.

I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, bug hunting with my son, and many outside activities! I am looking forward to a WONDERFUL SCHOOL YEAR! J
