I grew up in Gulfport, MS and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. I moved to Virginia and started teaching in Montgomery County in the 1990-91 school year. I taught 4th grade at CES for two years before moving to CPS to teach 2nd grade. I am married and have three daughters, Katie, Sarah and Hannah. The most recent addition to the family is a Miniature Schnauzer named Emily.
