Hello, I'm Connie Bryant.  Currently, I am a Reading Recovery and Title I teacher.  After teaching first grade for several years, I decided to become a Reading Specialist.  Helping children learn to read is so much fun!

I am a HOKIE!  My bachelors degree is from Virginia Tech.  I received my Masters in Reading from Radford University.

In my spare time, I love to read, cross-stitch, and garden.

I graduated from Mary Washington College with a degree in geography and later received a masters from VA Tech. I am a certified Reading Specialist and have worked in Montgomery County as a reading teacher for 12 years. I am trained in Reading Recovery and have taught at CPS for 8 years.
I love teaching reading and enjoy introducing students to new books and promoting a love of literature.
I have lived in an old farmhouse in Blacksburg for 20 years where I have raised my two children, Travis and Susanna. I enjoy gardening, square dancing and contra dancing, cooking, and hiking.
