The Montgomery County Public
Schools' curriculum guides were written through a collaborative effort with the
curriculum supervisors and elementary teachers throughout the school district.
These documents are working documents and will be revisited once all teachers
have had an opportunity to use them throughout this school year. The
objectives of the MCPS Curriculum Guide are:
