The goal of language arts education is to graduate fluent, effective communicators who:

·      access, evaluate, and synthesize information;

• enjoy and appreciate the craft of language expression;

• demonstrate mastery of the skills necessary to succeed in today's workplace; and

• use critical and creative written, spoken, and visual communication forms and
   

who use language to:
 

• give form and substance to their thoughts,

• develop their own knowledge and potential,

• understand themselves and others

• interact effectively with others

• deliver quality work, and

• effectively participate in local, state, national, and world communities.
