The K-12 science curriculum exemplifies an inquiry-based, hands-on approach to teaching science content. It is closely aligned to the Virginia Standards of Learning and the National Science Educational Content Standards. The content standards present a framework for what students must know, understand, and be able to do to be scientifically literate at any grade level. |
