Accreditation

A school's state accreditation rating reflects overall achievement inEnglish, history/social science, mathematics, and science.  Inaddition, high schools, beginning with accreditation ratings for the2011-2012 school year, must meet a minimum benchmark for graduation andcompletion.  Schools in which students meet or exceed all achievementobjectives established by the Virginia Board of Education are rated as"fully accredited."

Based on 2015-2016 testing, all MCPS schools are accredited in 2016-2017.  Eighteen schools are Fully Accredited, and one school is Partially Accredited:  Warned.
