Hello! My name is Stephanie Galliher. I am a new Second Grade teacher at Elliston-Lafayette. I recently graduated (May 2008) from Radford University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I completed my student teaching in second grade and I am very excited to continue with another second grade class. My husband and I have been married for three years and we currently reside in Dublin. However we are in the process of moving to the Salem/Roanoke area. I look forward to a fun year and I am very excited about working with everyone in our Elliston community.
Hi! My name is Sue Stade. I have been teaching Second Grade for eight years. I have been teaching Second Grade in Montgomery Count since 1999! I also taught Second Grade 3 years in Coral Springs, Florida, as well as two years in Preschool. I graduated from Western Carolina University, in Cullowhee, N.C. in 1974. Second Grade is a fun grade to teach, as the children have begun to read and it is a thrill to see their reading climb all year! Favorite areas of study in Second Grade are always Ancient Egypt and Ancient China Units. My husband and I have lived in Blacksburg for 14 years. Prior to this, our family lived in Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, and Canada. We have four children ages 21-28.
