Mrs. BurtickI graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory, Winchester, VA, in May 1985 with a Bachelors in Music, concentration in Music Education. I specialized in Wind instruments, particularly the Oboe and Flute. I joined the ELES staff in 1999. I grew up in Long Island, New York and now live in Elliston. I am married and have a son. I like to spend time with my son, Go to VT Games, and take care of my animals (horses, chickens, Bloodhounds, and Papillons) and I love to cook. At ELES we have a choir that is open by audition to grades two through five. We attend a competition at the end of the school year. Children try out for the choir at the beginning and end of the year.
