Mrs. Canterbury
Hello, My name is Mrs. Helen Canterbury. I have been a Registered Nurse for 24 years and this is my 4th hear as the School Nurse for ELES. I consider this position a blessing and a privilege. Caring for the student and staff brings me great joy and satisfaction. Healthy Students = Happy Students.
I graduated from the University of Rio Grande in Rio Grande, Ohio and hale from Beckley, WV - Go Mountaineers!
I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. My grandmother was an Army Nurse in WWII and my mother was a hospital nurse practicing for 40 years. When she would come home from work and take off her white nurse's cap and white shoes I would promptly put them on and play nurse.
Currently, I live in Salem with my husband, two sons, one Mom, one rotten cocker spaniel, two cats, and a miniature hamster named Gus. There is no greater calling than to be in service to others.
