Fire Safety House
On Thursday, October 11, 2007, the Christiansburg Fire Department's Fire Safety House visited ELES. First and second graders got to enter the house and learn about fire safety. The students then practiced escaping through the back window when the simulated smoke started filling the house. ELES would like to thank Warren Walker, John Epperly, & Steve Palmer of the Elliston Volunteer Fire Department and Clark Mitchell of the Christiansburg Fire Department for visiting ELES with the Fire Safety House.
Pre-K & Kindergarten Halloween Parade
Preschool and Kindergarten dressed in their Halloween costumes and paraded around the cafeteria and classrooms during lunch.
