Special Education serves students in grades PK-5. It is intended to provide the students with additional help in needed areas at ELES. There are two Special Education teachers and four paraprofessionals.
Ms. O'Bryan
I am Denise O'Bryan and I have been a member of the Elliston-Lafayette Elementary family for 15 years. Before teaching at ELES, I taught at Shawsville Middle/High School and at Floyd Elementary School. I received my undergraduate degree from Clinch Valley College in Wise, VA, which is currently named UVA Wise. I received my graduate degree from Radford University. I have been married for 25 years; my husband is also a teacher. We have one child, Tabitha, who just go married. Since the age of 7, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher, and I am so glad that I pursued my dream for I have loved every minute of my teaching career.

My name is Jennifer Brown. I am honored to be one of Elliston-Lafayette's Special Education Teachers. I am a graduate of Radford University where I received a Master's Degree in Special Education. I am happily married and reside in Radford, Virginia with my husband and one spoiled poodle named Max.
