This course is intended to advance and enrich the concepts of Algebra I. The topics include the complex number system, relations and functions, quadratic sentences, conic and quadratic system, exponents, and logarithms.
ADVANCED ALGEBRA/TRIGONOMETRY

Grade Level: 10-12
Prerequisite: Algebra II: with strong recommendation of “C” or higher grade
This course introduces trigonometry through the use of functions of the unit circle. This development is furthered through the use of triangles and the formulation of special trigonometric relationships. A variety of algebraic topics, advanced graphing, and operational techniques are included.
