This group of instructional programs prepares students to erect, install, maintain, and repair building, and other structures using materials such as metal, wood, stone, brick, glass, concrete and composition substances. Students develop skills in estimating costs; cutting, fastening, and fitting various materials; using hand and power tools; and following technical specifications and blueprints.
