Falling Branch Elementary opened in September
of 1992. The school houses 550 students in grades preschool through
fifth in a facility of 57,470 square feet and in eight detached learning
cottages.
School programs include the following:

The school stresses the importance of collaborative
grade level teaching teams in which members of the same grade level plan
together and with other instructional specialists and to provide common
learning and assessment experiences for students.
The Falling Branch Elementary School staff
strives to ensure that student achievement is a constant focus. At
the same time, the staff is cognizant of the need to help children grow
socially and emotionally as well. Test scores are important, yet
test scores are not everything.
The school also emphasizes the importance
of parents in ensuring a strong instructional program for students.
We strive to maintain positive relationships with our parents, and we benefit
from having a strong and active Parent Teacher Association. Our Continuous
Improvement Process planning model involves a variety of stakeholders in
making decisions for continued school growth,
