Meet the Office

Welcome to the home of the Purple Panthers!  Our main office includes a host of important individuals who help Harding Avenue Elementary run smoothly.  School principal is Meggan Marshall with Juliet Ryan as administrative assistant.   We boast a multitude of parent volunteers who assist in the office on a regular basis.  Additionally, the school nurse is Janet Welsh and the guidance counselor is Jennifer Baldwin.  Thanks to the dedicated office staff you will have a warm, friendly, and productive visit when stopping by Harding Avenue.

 

Meet the Principal

As a former student of Montgomery County Public Schools, it gives me great pleasure to be an educator and principal for the county.   After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary English Education (NK – 8) from Emory and Henry College, I earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Radford University.  Prior to becoming an administrator, I taught 6^th, 7^th, 1^st, and Kindergarten for ten years. 

When I’m not at Harding Avenue, I enjoy spending time with my family (husband Shawn, daughters Tucker and Kennedy, and son Nathan).  We enjoy riding bikes, reading books, and playing outside together.

Having been a member of the Harding Avenue Elementary School community for the past year has been a privilege, and I look forward to many more years here.  The students, parents, staff, and community of HAE are dedicated to creating an exceptional learning experience where all children are successful.
