The sky all day long with the lovely wings in the wind.

   Lady's perfume.

Blue is the color of the quiet sea.
The pool, the pond, wherever you see.
Blue is the color of a balloon.

Blue is rain.

Pink by Payton
Pink is an unripened berry,
   It's sometimes even a cherry.
They both would be very tart,
If you wait to eat them you're smart.
Pink is a flamingo's feather on water,
Or a sea urchin being eaten by an otter.
Some ice-cream is pink,
   And maybe some ink.
My nose turns pink,
   In the cold, I think.
Pink could be an Easter egg,
Or a hat upon my head.

The Color Red by Latoya
Red is a rose
   in a flower garden.
A red rose smells
   like a strawberry.
A red rose has
   a sad feeling.

Green by Jessica
Green is a green grasshopper
   With six green legs.
It lives in the grass
   With its baby eggs.
Grasshopper
   ate my Green bushes.

Pink by Staci
Pink is a feeling
   You get in the spring.
Pink is a wonderful
   Beautiful thing.
Pink is the clouds
   In a sunset.
Pink is the smell
   Of bubble gum.
Pink is a flower
   In an April shower.
Pink is a coral reef
   Under the deep blue sea.
Pink is the grandmother of red.
Pink is a sheet on a bed.
      Pink is yours.
      Pink is mine.

Green by Greg
Green is a clover
   Green is a tree
It's the grass on the ground
   Which the dew falls upon
Green is a pencil that
   Colors and colors
It's a friend that's one to
   Everyone
Long ago I was told
   It's a father to blue...
Green will always be true.

Green is the color that outdoes
   Them all.

Green is rock moss, nicely curled.
Green is grass,
Green never has to sass,
Green is a giant colossal

to look to another day.

Turquoise by Lisa
Turquoise is a little rock
Shining with the sun.
Turquoise is a sparkling fish
Jumping over the dock.
It's a star
Or a simple wish.
It's a feeling deep inside
Making everything so divine.
It's a roller coaster
Giving you a ride.
It's a butterfly's wing
Flying in the air.
It's a bird's song
When they sing.
Turquoise is a color
That no one can beat.

Once when a pink ribbon was there.

The pearl on your ring.
White is a very beautiful thing.

And as powerful as the sunset.

Green is a strawberry, not yet ripe.

The feeling of green is in the 70's era.
The sound of green is screeching in the empty forest.
Green is echoing a chorus.

In the grass by the country road.

That get blown away by the breeze.

Making a coat of royalty there.

The sky is blue so are you.
It is big, beautiful and bright.
It is all around us when the cats and dogs fight.

Would not have the water to swim in the river.

Grey by Robert
Grey is the color of rocks.
I study the rocks so gently
In my hands.

The rocks are so hard,

It's a mystery, I tell you.
Just look on your block.
