As part of the 1996-1997 Quilting in the Classroom project, Mrs. Shaw's class created an alphabet quilt that depicts the various foods we eat. Here is a photograph of the completed quilt. Each student brought in a sample of food to use as a stamp on his or her quilt panel. This quilt, along with the other twenty-two that were made at GLE, were displayed at the big celebration in April in the GLE Multi-Purpose Room.
