As part of the 1996-1997 Quilting in the Classroom project, Mrs. Stith's class created a quilt based on images of the sun. Here are some of the hand-colored panels that were sewn into their quilt. This quilt, along with the other twenty-two that were made at GLE, were displayed at the big celebration in April in the GLE Multi-Purpose Room.
