On Monday,
November 6, 2000, Mrs. Thomas' classroom turned into a
contraption department. Our teacher, Mrs. Thomas, decided to do this because
we were learning about the six simple machines. Every child in our class had
to draw and design plans for his/her contraption. Keila
and Fariha drew beautiful plans. Alex did one with
cars. Simon did a basketball one. Vaerie did a
candy one. Lena and Emma did toothpaste ones. Nicholas
did one with a basket. Kaitlyn did one with a
Hershey kiss. Sam did one with a "chewy." If you every need to
raise a flag, ask Jesse. I did a back scratcher. -
