At Margaret Beeks each class in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade has art instruction for 50 minutes every week. Kim Rasnake is the art teacher.
The art curriculum is based on the Virginia Standards of Learning and is integrated into classroom curriculum areas and themes. Art instruction is discipline-based including production, aesthetics, criticism and history.
