Originally from The Buffalo,
New York area, my family and I have been in
Blacksburg
for many years now. Blacksburg IS a special place and a wonderful
place to raise a family.
I am one of the Reading
Specialists here at PFES and have been teaching in
Montgomery
County since 1998. I
received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech and
my Reading Certification and Reading Recovery training from Radford University. PFES offers many literacy
activities to encourage the love of reading. Please consider joining our
PFES Family Book Club (where the whole school is invited to read the
same book) and participate in our Breakfast Book Swaps (where we recycle
gently used children’s books) or check out the reading websites
