I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1996 and have worked in
intensive care, surgery, home health, and obstetrics, prior to starting
as a school nurse in 2003. I still also work OB at Montgomery Regional Hospital. I am convinced I have the two
best jobs in nursing: at the Birthing Center, I get to witness the
miracle of new life, and here at school, I get to witness miracles of
living. I love helping the children here at school, and watching them
grow. And it’s always fun to see a child that I helped deliver at the
hospital, going to school here! My son, Nathan, who attends Price’s
Fork, is all boy and the joy of my heart. In my spare time, I enjoy
camping with Nate, reading, listening to Christian music, and
traveling. (Ask me about my trip to the Brazil!)
