Meetings are once a month in the
library. Welcome back to Price’s Fork Elementary. Hope you had a relaxing and fun-filled summer with your children! The goal of the PTA at Price’s Fork is to enrich the quality of educational experiences your child receives. We accomplish this goal in a variety of ways, but mainly through the devotion of time, talent and resources of many volunteers. Last year was productive and successful for the PTA; a BIG thanks to those of you who gave your time and energy in making it so. Just a few of our accomplishments: 1 Purchase of a music program, including instruments and teaching materials requested by Mr. Young 2 Five major, successful fundraising events: Cookie Dough & Catalogue Sale, Football Parking, BBQ Dinner, Spaghetti Dinner, and our very own PFES Cookbook (COPIES STILL AVAILABLE, by the way). 3 Several Cultural Arts programs presented to your children 4 Classroom grants for all teachers 5 Purchase of much-needed and specifically asked-for equipment for teachers, including several multi-media audio/visual carts It is important to note that all programs and activities provided to your child are made possible by money earned through fundraising. The success of these fundraisers depends directly on you – the volunteers who put in the time! Please make plans now to get involved in making your child’s school the best it can be. How can you do this? Simply say “YES” when help is needed! The PTA meets once a month throughout the year, in the PFES library. We not only welcome, but encourage parents, grandparents, community members and staff to attend each and every meeting. Thanks, in advance, for helping to make Price’s Fork Elementary not only “a growing community of learners”, but “the place to be”, as well! Best Regards, The PFES PTA Board:
