Project HOPE, NRV

 

Project HOPE, NRV is a rural, regional homeless education program which provides educational services to children and youth experiencing homelessness throughout the New River Valley.  This program, sponsored by Montgomery County Public Schools and The Women's Resource Center of the New River Valley, provides educational advocacy and support services to students in grades K-12.  Five school systems, 46 schools, in the counties of Montgomery, Pulaski, Giles, and Floyd, plus the City of Radford, partner with the Women's Resource Center, area churches, universities, clubs, and civic groups to provide ongoing support of this vital program.  Children cannot learn until their basic needs are met.  This website provides links to agencies and programs which provide services to meet those basic needs.  For a detailed description of Project HOPE, NRV go to the following link: Program Description.
