Morgan Chosen to Lead CMS
The Montgomery County School Board approved Ms. Malinda Morgan as the next principal at Christiansburg Middle School. Morgan currently serves as the principal at Christiansburg Elementary School.
“Ms. Morgan is a great leader for MCPS with a proven track record of success, and I look forward to seeing her expand her leadership capacity at Christiansburg Middle School,” MCPS Superintendent Bernard F. Bragen Jr. said. “Her experience and knowledge will prove invaluable in this new position.”
“After eight wonderful years at Christiansburg Elementary, I'm honored to step into the role of principal at Christiansburg Middle School,” Morgan said. “Having guided many of our students through their early educational journey, I'm excited to continue supporting their growth at CMS. To the CES families and colleagues: thank you for your unwavering support. To the CMS community: I'm eager to embark on this new chapter with you.”
Ms. Morgan has served as the principal at CES since 2017. Before arriving at CES, she was an assistant principal in Campbell County Public Schools and has teaching experience in multiple school districts.
Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a master's degree from the University of Montevallo.
She will begin this new position on July 1.
