This week, contractors have made great progress in the art and drafting area.
The masonry crew is continuing with CMU block walls, completing the topping off the last foreign language class to the deck. Faculty Restrooms to the deck.

New spiral ductwork is being installed by the second shift crew in Building Trades and Auto Mechanics 2.
The second shift electrical crew is installing new electrical panels in Building Trades and Precision Machining.
Shut-down work was performed on the 16th for mechanical piping and electrical systems, avoiding any disruptions in the building to existing systems during school hours.
Punch-list work was performed on the 16th, and roller shades were installed in the newly completed social studies classrooms.
Exterior work on the roof was stopped due to rain. Working through ponding water on the roof and leaks occurring around rooftop air handlers in chemistry, social studies, the commons area, the second floor, band, and choir. These curbs were temporarily flashed into the existing roof until the weather improved for permanent roofing installation.
Contractors and roofers are currently focused on finalizing the tapper design and determining the RTU (Rooftop Unit) height. A minimum clearance of 12 inches is required between the bottom of the RTU and the final roof membrane. This will involve approximately 4 units already set, and all remaining RTUs in CTE that are not yet set will be done as we move forward. Raising the curb height on these units will require contractors to perform in the summer phase for the 4 already set.

Steel contractors were able to get handrails on both new concrete ramps at Band door and the existing loading dock installed.
The new medical lab and early childhood area are progressing well.

Sanitary lines have been cameraed, and it was determined that the old existing cast iron on the main trunk line is holding water and is badly deteriorated and would need to be replaced.
