Christina Warner CPS Principal

Montgomery County Public Schools has named Christina Warner as the next principal at Christiansburg Primary School. She most recently served as an assistant principal in Roanoke City Schools.

“Ms. Warner will be a great leader for Christiansburg Primary School,” MCPS Superintendent Bernard F. Bragen, Jr. said. “We can’t wait to see her success here in Montgomery County Public Schools.”

"I am honored to have the privilege of joining the Christiansburg Primary School community as your new principal,” Warner said. “I believe in the power of relationships, early learning, and creating a safe environment where every student can grow. The MCPS mission to engage, encourage, and empower every student mirrors my own passion for ensuring that each Coyote Pup feels seen, supported, and celebrated. I look forward to continuing to build upon the foundations and successes already established at CPS and learn and lead alongside the CPS community as we help our littlest learners take big steps toward a bright future.”

Warner’s background includes experience as an assistant principal, teacher on assignment, and art teacher.

She received her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, her master’s degree from Radford University, and is currently working on her Ed.D.
