Montgomery County Public Schools has named Eric Anderson as the next principal at Falling Branch Elementary School. He comes to FBES after an extensive career with Roanoke City Schools.
“We are excited to have Dr. Anderson join the MCPS team,” MCPS Superintendent Bernard F. Bragen, Jr. said. “I am confident he will be a great leader for the FBES Frogs.”
“I am absolutely thrilled to serve as the principal of Falling Branch Elementary School,” Anderson said. “It is an honor to join a community known for its dedication to student success, strong relationships, and commitment to excellence. I look forward to working alongside the incredible staff, supportive families, and our amazing students as we learn and grow together.”
Anderson’s experience includes serving as an administrator on assignment and the assistant superintendent of elementary instruction with Roanoke City Schools. He also served as the director of the Forest Park Academy in Roanoke, Va.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, his master’s degree from Hollins University, and his Ph.D. from Regent University.
